Willson Contreras homers in Red Sox's 5-3 win at Yankee Stadium

In his first game with the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium, Willson Contreras hit a two-run homer, leading to a 5-3 victory over the New York Yankees. The decisive hit came in the fifth inning off Yankees starter Ryan Weathers, who struggled, allowing five runs in six innings. This win aids the Red Sox, who remain in last place in the AL East, while the Yankees drop to 1.5 games out of first. Unlike his previous outings against the Yankees, Contreras contributed significantly, having had limited success in earlier matchups this season. The Red Sox's Sonny Gray also turned in a solid performance, earning the win despite allowing three runs.
