Windber volleyball team remains undefeated after victory over Meyersdale

The Windber girls volleyball team moved to 3-0 on the season following a five-set victory against Meyersdale on Thursday, Sept. 3. The match ended with scores of 25-22, 25-17, 20-25, 17-25, 15-12 as the Ramblers secured a win against their previously unbeaten opponents. Windber initially led by two sets before Meyersdale rallied to force a decider, where the Ramblers ultimately pulled ahead late in the final frame. Liliana Grillo anchored the Windber attack with 18 kills and 26 assists, while Veda Grillo contributed 19 service points and 22 assists. The victory marks a significant start for the program, which is preparing for a stretch of three road matches beginning next week.
