Winona Cotter secured a 4-3 victory over Pine City in the first round of the state Class 1A team tennis tournament on June 2 at Reed-Sweatt Tennis Center in Minneapolis. The No. 5 seeded Ramblers won three singles matches, with singles victories by Logan Granseth, Hamilton Brewer, and Everett Engler. They also triumphed in the No. 3 doubles match with Oliver Engler and Cooper Knuesel.
