Wisconsin Badgers drop to number six in latest AVCA volleyball poll

The Wisconsin Badgers moved to the number six position in the most recent AVCA Poll following a 2-0 week. Kelly Sheffield led the squad to victories against Florida and Auburn during the Big Ten/SEC Challenge. Although Wisconsin defeated the Florida Gators, who were ranked number 17 and subsequently moved to number 10, the Badgers still saw their national ranking decline. Wisconsin currently holds a 3-3 record heading into a road stretch. The team is scheduled to travel to Texas for matches against number 9 Texas and number 19 Texas A&M. These upcoming games represent significant tests for the team as they look to improve their standing. The Badgers previously held the number five spot before the latest rankings were released.
