Wisconsin Badgers split matches against top 10 teams to open season

The Wisconsin Badgers began their season with a challenging weekend in the AVCA First Serve. Wisconsin had 21 errors and struggled to maintain momentum, despite strong performances from Eva Travis and setter Charlie Fuerbringer. The following night, the Badgers rebounded against No. 7 Louisville, sweeping them 25-18, 25-20, 25-18, showcasing a more efficient performance with only 11 errors. Travis led the team again with 13 kills, while Fuerbringer was named MVP for her contributions. The Badgers next compete at the Opening Spike Classic against No. 5 Stanford on Friday.
