Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell identified two true freshmen who will occupy roles for the Badgers during the team's Week 1 matchup on September 6 at Lambeau Field. Cornerback Donovan Dunmore and tight end Jack Sievers are set to contribute on special teams when the team opens its season. Fickell noted that while the roster underwent significant changes with over 30 transfers added during the offseason, these two first-year players have earned immediate playing time.
