Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell named senior transfer Abu Sama the starting running back for the upcoming game against Notre Dame. Sama, who spent his first three collegiate seasons at Iowa State, joins the Badgers with 1,933 career rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. Fickell confirmed the role designation on Sunday, noting that Sama will serve as the 1A option in the backfield.
