Wisconsin players Lopušanová and Tremblay nominated for WCHA honors

Nela Lopušanová and Rosalie Tremblay of the Wisconsin Badgers are nominated for WCHA Preseason Rookie of the Year as the team prepares for its 2026/27 season. The Badgers will open their campaign against St. Lawrence University soon, looking to improve on last season’s impressive 35-4-2 record. Lopušanová previously led her high school to a national title and represented Slovakia internationally. Tremblay won the Liz Turgeon Player of the Year award last season in the Junior Women’s Hockey League.
