Wisconsin volleyball player Jaela Auguste continues to recover from abdominal injury

Wisconsin middle blocker Jaela Auguste remains sidelined by an abdominal strain as she navigates the first extended injury absence of her career. The 2025 third-team All-American previously played in every match during her time at Florida before transferring to Wisconsin this season. While the injury caused her to miss the alumni match, exhibition play, and four recent contests, head coach Kelly Sheffield is utilizing the time to help Auguste improve her ability to read the game from the sidelines. Freshman Lynney Tarnow has assumed starting duties in the middle alongside rotation players Natalie Wardlow and Kymora Scott.
