Wisconsin volleyball remains No. 6 in AVCA coaches poll ahead of Big Ten

The Wisconsin volleyball team is officially the No. 6 ranked team in the AVCA coaches poll released on September 21, 2026. The Badgers (6-4) secured their position after winning two recent matches against unranked Marquette and UW-Milwaukee, both in four sets. Earlier in the season, Wisconsin briefly climbed to No. 5 and recorded notable victories over ranked teams including Louisville, Florida, and Texas A&M. Going forward, the Badgers will open Big Ten play against Oregon, currently ranked No. 20, on September 24, followed by a match against No. 10 Purdue on September 27.
