Wizards acquire Tre Mann, send Cam Whitmore and Julian Reese away

The Washington Wizards finalized a trade on August 19 to acquire Tre Mann from the Los Angeles Clippers. In the deal, the Wizards will send DMV natives Cam Whitmore to the Cleveland Cavaliers and waive Julian Reese, who will join the Denver Nuggets. Whitmore's injury-limited season with the Wizards saw him average 9.2 points and 2.8 rebounds. Reese provided a bright spot with five double-doubles in his rookie year, averaging 11.8 points and 10.5 rebounds. The Wizards now have two roster spots and a two-way spot to fill ahead of the upcoming regular season.
