WNBA free agency begins with key players available this offseason

The WNBA offseason has officially started following the conclusion of the 2026 season. The 2027 WNBA Draft Lottery is set for November 15, which will establish the draft order. Among the notable unrestricted free agents are Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx, Jackie Young of the Las Vegas Aces, and Kelsey Mitchell of the Indiana Fever. Each has had standout seasons, with Collier recently recovering from ankle surgeries and Young contributing significantly to the Aces' success. Teams will closely monitor these players as free agency opens early next year.
