WNBA rescinds Caitlin Clark's technical foul, avoids suspension

Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever will not face suspension after the WNBA rescinded a technical foul assessed during a game against the Chicago Sky on August 8, 2026. The foul, which was her eighth of the season, would have led to an automatic one-game suspension. The league initially called the foul when Clark allegedly made contact with an official while being defended. Fever coach Stephanie White also received a technical foul for her comments during the game. Clark's team is set to host the New York Liberty in their next matchup.
