As the 2026 WNBA trade deadline approaches on August 2, teams assess their rosters for potential moves. The Minnesota Lynx, who lead the league with a 22-6 record, could target Sydney Taylor from the Chicago Sky to enhance their guard depth and 3-point shooting. The Golden State Valkyries, currently in second place, may pursue Aneesah Morrow from the Connecticut Sun to bolster their rebounding statistics. Meanwhile, the Dallas Wings, with an 18-9 record, are interested in Olivia Nelson-Ododa to address rebounding and rim protection needs.
