Wolves name Richard Walker as under-21s head coach

Wolverhampton Wanderers have appointed Richard Walker as the new head coach for their under-21s team. Walker, who had been coaching the under-18s, replaces James Collins following his departure in July. The 44-year-old has been with Wolves for three years after joining from Stoke City in 2023 and brings valuable experience from his playing career, which included over 100 appearances for Crewe Alexandra. The Wolves academy director expressed confidence in Walker's ability to develop players for professional play.
