Woody Kincaid, Sydney Vaught secure victories at USATF 10,000m championships

Woody Kincaid and Sydney Vaught emerged victorious in the men’s and women’s 10,000m events at the Toyota USATF Outdoor and Para National Championships held at Icahn Stadium in New York City. Kincaid clocked a time of 30 minutes, 13.66 seconds, narrowly defeating Olympic bronze medalist Grant Fisher, while Vaught won her event in 33:30.60, finishing ahead of runner-up Katie Izzo by 6.38 seconds. Kincaid’s win marks his third U.S. 10,000m title, a feat last accomplished by Galen Rupp. The championships continue with the men's and women's 100m semifinals and finals set to take place on Friday, broadcasted on Peacock and NBCSN.
