Work continues at Vila Belmiro ahead of Santos vs Chapecoense match

Repairs are ongoing at Vila Belmiro just over an hour before Santos faces Chapecoense. The project aims to expand the capacity for organized supporter groups, but has delayed full usage of the Cosmo Damião stand. Currently, only the sides of this stand are open, accommodating 1,430 supporters with spaced standing room. Clean-up efforts were underway just 35 minutes prior to kickoff, and alterations to the railings were reportedly made possibly at the request of the Military Police.
