Workday Charity Classic raises 5.6 million dollars for Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation

The 7th Annual Workday Charity Classic held at Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club generated more than 5.6 million dollars to support Oakland Unified School District students and families. The event serves as the primary annual fundraiser for the Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation, co-founded by Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry. The total includes a matching donation from Aneel Bhusri, the co-founder of Workday. Since its inception in 2019, the organization has directed more than 100 million dollars toward food access, education, and youth sports initiatives in Oakland. The foundation has completed renovations on 25 schoolyards and six gyms to date. Organizers intend to continue these community investments, with Stephen Curry stating his desire to remain with the Golden State Warriors for the duration of his playing career.
