New Jersey will host multiple fan events during the World Cup featuring live match screenings, food trucks, and music. Governor Mikie Sherrill announced $5 million in grants to support 34 organizations facilitating these events across seven cities, including Jersey City and Newark. Activities will include youth clinics and live performances from artists such as Soulja Boy and the Village People. Flag Cities events will take place on specific dates, beginning June 12 in Jersey City, and tickets are available for purchase online. Other regional celebrations are scheduled throughout the tournament.
