World Wide Technology Raceway honors memory of final Kyle Busch race win

The NASCAR community prepares for upcoming race weekend at World Wide Technology Raceway with a focus on the memory of Kyle Busch. The two-time Cup Series champion died on May 21 at age 41 following a case of severe pneumonia and sepsis. World Wide Technology Raceway served as the site of his 63rd and final career Cup victory during the 2023 Enjoy Illinois 300. Busch led 121 laps during that race, securing his third win of the 2023 season. Tributes to the driver have occurred at various tracks throughout the year, including an upcoming celebration of life scheduled for October 9 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Additionally, Ty Gibbs is set to drive a car featuring Busch’s iconic M&M’s paint scheme during the Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
