World Wide Technology Raceway is honoring the late Kyle Busch with the debut of the Rowdy trophy. The award will be presented to the winner of the Enjoy Illinois 300, which serves as the second race of the Chase. The trophy features an image of Busch performing his signature post-race bow following his final NASCAR Cup Series victory at the track in 2023. Additional engravings include the car numbers 5, 18, and 8 to represent the vehicles Busch drove during his career. Busch died in May at age 41, just days after securing his 69th and final victory in the Craftsman Truck Series at Dover Motor Speedway.
