Worthing sign forward Charley Kendall from Southend United

Worthing acquired forward Charley Kendall from Southend United for an undisclosed fee. The 25-year-old moves to the club after spending time with the Shrimpers since late 2024. During his tenure at Southend, Kendall made 55 National League appearances and recorded 13 goals. He contributed to the team's FA Trophy success last season, which included two goals in the semi-final and a start in the final victory against Wealdstone. Manager Adam Hinshelwood cited Kendall's pace and National League experience as the primary reasons for the addition. Worthing intends for the forward to play a regular role in their upcoming league fixtures.
