Wrexham is set to face Premier League teams in a series of pre-season friendlies, starting with Manchester United on July 15 in Finland. Phil Parkinson aims for his squad to be better prepared for the Championship in the upcoming 2026-27 season. Last season, they finished seventh after an early struggle but improved as the season progressed. Following the friendly with United, Wrexham will play Leeds United, Liverpool, and Sunderland in the United States. This year's warm-ups are viewed as a chance to address previous issues and integrate new players more effectively into the team.
