Wrexham defeated Millwall 3-0 at The Den on Wednesday to earn their first Championship win of the season. An own goal by Zak Sturge in the 28th minute opened the scoring for the visitors. Kieffer Moore extended the lead in the 52nd minute with a strike from distance, followed by a Jacques Ekomie goal in the 69th minute to finalize the result. The victory marks a turnaround for the Welsh side, which entered the match following two draws and a home loss to Birmingham. Conversely, the result continues a difficult defensive run for Alex Neil’s Millwall side, which has now conceded eight goals in its last two league appearances. Millwall struggled to create consistent offensive threats throughout the match, managing only one significant chance through Mark Sykes early in the first half.
