WTGL launches inaugural season with media rights deal for ESPN and ION

TMRW Sports announced the official launch date and broadcast partners for the new WTGL. The league will begin competition on Sunday, Nov. 8, coinciding with the final round of the LPGA TOTO Japan Classic. Matches and shoulder programming will air across ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2 under a multi-year agreement with ESPN and Scripps Sports/ION. This broadcast announcement arrives two days after the league confirmed the official rosters for its five participating teams. While the full league schedule remains pending, the November launch marks the beginning of the tournament series. The television coverage plan encompasses network and cable broadcast windows.
