WWE alters plans for Sunday Night's Main Event concert

WWE has decided against its original plan for a concert featuring Lil Yachty at Sunday Night's Main Event on September 6, 2026. Feedback from a previous event prompted this change, leading WWE to focus more on wrestling content. Despite the cancellation of the concert, Yachty will still be part of the show, making his in-ring debut against United States Champion Baron Corbin. If Yachty remains in the ring for more than five minutes, his friend Trick Williams will have another chance to contest for the US Championship. The last Saturday Night's Main Event took place on July 18, featuring several New York Knicks players.
