The rumors are here, read all about them. Joe Tessitore announced an Oba Femi singles match as a first round tournament bout on the Clash in Italy post-show but that was obviously not the case. WWE later confirmed the first round will all be Fatal 4-Way matches. Then, graphics were posted to WWE.com that showed Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn replacing Talla Tonga and Ricky Saints. PW Insider and the Wrestling Observer have indicated it was all seemingly a simple error and they’ll be moving ahead with the original bracket. There do not appear to be any plans for a Drew McIntyre return at this time, now that he wasn’t needed as a replacement for Jacob Fatu in Tribal Combat at Clash in Italy. Other rumors floating around Mike Santana’s contract with TNA runs through sometime in July, says PW Insider. WWE has shown interest previously. While claiming he has no inside information on as much, JBL told Busted Open Radio that he believes AAA is “going to get a pretty good TV deal coming up.” Nikki Bella said on the Nikki & Brie Show that she pitched a segment for Clash in Italy called “Ciao Bella” that would have featured various stars in funny segments. She claimed they liked it but it fell through in the end. Per False Finish, while WWE has been impressed with Nikkita Lyons’ work since she returned from injury there are no plans to call her up to the main roster anytime soon. Get in on this, y’all.
