Stuart presented claims of having found Bigfoot's body in October 2024 in New York's Adirondack Mountains and described DNA results indicating a 58% Neanderthal ancestry. Controversy arose when Cornell University's spokesperson denied that any DNA testing was conducted on the alleged remains, a statement Stuart contested. The discussion highlighted skepticism about both Bigfoot's existence and the credibility of the evidence presented. On the episode of Stories With Brisco and Bradshaw released on September 22, the two WWE Hall of Famers welcomed Charles Stuart, who goes by Snake the Bigfoot Hunter. Layfield opened the segment by referring to Stuart as a “Bigfoot catcher” before going on to detail his guest’s story of finding what he said was a cryptid that DNA testing found was 58% Neanderthal. According to Stuart, he came upon the body of a deceased Bigfoot in October 2024 while in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, since that area is known for sightings of the supposed creature. He shared photos of what he claimed is the dead Sasquatch, which Brisco and JBL showed onscreen for the video version of the podcast. Stuart, who authored a book entitled The Bigfoot Bible, has previously claimed that a DNA test on the alleged remains was conducted the Cornell University Veterinary DNA Lab have been called into question. However, a spokesperson for the university denied any such test ever took place there when contacted by The New York Post. “Cornell did not conduct any testing for [Stuart,] or present a report,” the spokesperson told the Post. Snake pushed back on Cornell’s denial when Layfield questioned him about it. “Essentially, having anything tied to anything Bigfoot is pretty much a taboo for any university, especially an Ivy League one,” he said. “The way that they portray this is that they had no test done on this Bigfoot body. And I never brought the Bigfoot body in there, number one. I didn’t bring it to their main biolab.” “If you would have, they would have confiscated it right there,” Brisco interjected. “Yeah, exactly. With something on this scale, they would have documented it and released information as it is a Neanderthal/humanoid relic or something that they had found,” Stuart said. “But I was using the word Bigfoot, and that was a problem.” Snake went on to claim that not only had he been kicked out of a biolab at State University of New York in Oswego for brining in a DNA sample, but people there had also “roughed me up.” He then claimed that this led him to contact an ex-girlfriend who was working in the veterinary lab at Cornell, and after some “sweet-talking,” got her to run some DNA. “When I got the results back, I knew I was sitting on like dynamite,” Stuart said, adding that he’s pursuing a lawsuit that would force Cornell to revise their statements. Later in the interview, Layfield tried to seek some clarity about Snake’s alleged discovery, asking: “Is it part of the ape family? Is it part of the human family? Is it part of both? Is it the missing link? What is it?“ “It’s definitely human,” Stuart replied before breaking down the supposed creature’s DNA make-up. During the interview, both Brisco and Layfield appeared to take Stuart’s claims seriously, and the interview was referenced this week during the latest episode of the Something to Wrestle podcast when co-host Conrad Thompson brought it up to JBL. “You were telling me that there were multiple Bigfeet, that there’s a man Bigfoot and there’ s a female Bigfoot,” Thompson said as Layfield pulled up one of Snake’s images. “If that’s true, where are the Bigfoot genitals? There aren’t any. It’s make-believe.” “What do you think that is?” Layfield said, showing the photo. “What do you think that is?” “I think it’s a Chewbacca costume laid in the f**king woods. That’s what it is,” Conrad replied. “That is a Bigfoot right there,” JBL said, undeterred. Layfield later trolled Conrad on X (Twitter) with a faux image of Bigfoot that indicated the creature is no fan of the podcast host. He’s real and he’s not happy. pic.twitter.com/LyyCUKcpX6 — John Layfield (@JCLayfield) September 29, 2026 What do you make of Snake the Bigfoot Hunter’s claims? Do you believe in Bigfoot?
