- 1:00 PMCageside Seats — WWE Raw preview (June 22, 2026): WWE’s hottest star tries his best to survive the latest Bloodline drama
"Raw airs today (June 22) with a live show emanating from The O2 in London, England. This is the final episode of Raw during the four week build to Night of Champions, which takes place on Saturday (June 27) in Saudi Arabia. Raw has a special start time of 2 pm ET on Netflix. WWE’s hottest star tries his best to survive the latest Bloodline drama The final matches of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments are officially set for Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia. IYO SKY and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan are fighting over the queen’s crown, while either Jey Uso or Oba Femi will be WWE’s newest king. All four finalists are scheduled to be on Raw today for some go-home show promos to hype up their PLE tournament fights. Morgan’s inclusion in the tournament was always a bit odd seeing how the prize is a women’s world title shot at SummerSlam, and she’s already holding one of those belts. She has not defended the world championship on TV or PLE during her 65 day title reign, though, so I suppose that her goal is to make sure the WWE women’s championship also goes back to never being defended. The fact that current titleholder Rhea Ripley is out with an injury makes it more likely that Liv can become a double champion, assuming that Morgan is okay following an injury scare on a house show spot involving Sol Ruca over the weekend. We’ll see if Morgan has her Judgment Day stablemates lurking in the shadows today to ambush IYO when they confront each other in the ring for some good old-fashioned pro wrestling trash talk. On the men’s side, Oba Femi officially joins The Bloodline drama on Raw when he and Jey go back and forth on the mic. Femi is arguably still the hottest star in WWE despite losing against Brock Lesnar at Clash In Italy. The Ruler is very preoccupied with Lesnar during his promos this month despite the fact that Brock has nothing to do with the King of the Ring tournament. Maybe Oba will be able to better focus on the task at hand today when he is standing in the ring with not only Jey, but likely Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu as well. World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns has previously stated that he expects Jey to win this tournament on his own, but I’m pretty sure there’s enough wiggle room for the rest of the Bloodline to overwhelm Femi with the numbers game today if someone crosses the line on the mic. Femi can make quite a statement to the Tribal Chief if he single-handedly takes out the Bloodline henchmen on Raw and then goes on to defeat Jey in less than 10 minutes at Night of Champions. Will Oba Femi sink or swim now that he’s officially entering The Bloodline’s business? Is Liv Morgan healthy and ready to compete in the Queen in the Ring final? Tune into Raw today at 2 pm ET to see which tournament finalists stand tall on the go home show for Night of Champions. The rest of the card World Tag Team Champions Austin Theory and Bron Breakker put the gold on the line today against the Street Profits. The Vision already retained these belts against the Profits last month at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but that’s when YouTube douchebag Logan Paul was in the ring instead of Breakker. Will Seth Rollins get the last laugh on Breakker before their steel cage match at Night of Champions by screwing him out of championship gold today? Could Joe Hendry also be on the verge of returning to attack The Vision here after they recently put him on the shelf? If the heels need some help to win, will it come from…Maxxine Dupri? It won’t be Je’Von Evans, right? The WWE women’s tag team championship is also up for grabs today in the UK when Paige and Brie Bella defend the titles against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Are Fatal Influence in the building to attack which ever team walks out of this match with the gold? Dragon Lee vs. Ethan Page is booked on today’s show. Will Rey Mysterio be at ringside to neutralize any potential interference from Rusev? Can Page get back in contention for Penta’s Intercontinental championship with a victory? Finally, Chad Gable has requested time on Raw today, and it’s been granted by GM Adam Pearce. What a novel concept! Perhaps that’s what all the “creative has nothing for you” folks should be doing as well if it’s that easy to get some TV time. Anyway, which heel will decide to interrupt Chad and ruin his babyface redemption arc? How about that little shithead Dominik Mysterio? Other stuff to keep an eye on – Roman Reigns whispered something in Jacob Fatu’s ear last week. Will we find out tonight who Roman presumably ordered a hit on? Could it be Oba Femi or Seth Rollins? – Speaking of Fatu’s victims, what kind of mood is LA Knight in today after the Samoan Werewolf put him down with the Tongan Death Grip last week? Will the megastar crash Jey Uso’s segment with Femi if that’s what he has to do to get his hands on The Bloodline, or does LA need a week off to recover? – Solo Sikoa has threatened to send MFT over to Raw to meddle in Roman Reigns’ Bloodline business. Is there any chance that happens tonight, or will Solo wait for a show where the OTC is actually in the building? – What’s next for Becky Lynch after losing the women’s Intercontinental championship to Sol Ruca and being eliminated from the Queen in the Ring tournament? – Will anybody on the Raw roster ask GM Adam Pearce who or what he got in return for trading Finn Balor to SmackDown? The fact that WWE doesn’t address obvious details like this shows how pointless the brand split really is. – Where the f*** is CM Punk? Will he return to WWE in time to apologize to the government of Saudi Arabia again this weekend? What will you be looking for on Raw?
