WWE releases Keanu Carver following stalking allegations
Summary

WWE NXT talent Keanu Carver, known as Kevin Richardson, has been released from the company amid allegations of stalking a fellow NXT wrestler. An order of protection against Richardson was reportedly filed in a Florida court after he was accused of making unwanted visits to the wrestler's residence and threats of harm. Of particular note, WWE has not publicly commented on the situation following Richardson's release. Prior responses he shared on social media, which seemed to challenge the allegations, were deleted soon after posting. The handling of the case aligns with WWE's previous approaches to sensitive issues within NXT.

Last week, Post Wrestling’s John Pollock and Brandon Thurston reported that an order of protection had been filed in a Florida court against Kevin Richardson, aka WWE NXT’s Keanu Carver. The petition was filed by another NXT talent who filed a petition against him; the petitioner’s identity has been reported by some outlets, but Cageside Seats will not post their name unless they come forward publicly themselves. The petition alleged that Richardson was in a relationship with the petitioner, and after it ended the former NXT and Evolve wrestler made repeated unwanted visits to their residence. During those, he threatened to harm the petitioner and himself. Richardson briefly shared what seemed to be responses to the report on X/Twitter, defiantly responding to critics hinting the petition only represented the partial truth. He deleted them within hours. WWE has not returned requests for comment from Post and other outlets, but PWInsider Mike Johnson reports they’ve made a decision on 27-year-old Richardson: WWE NXT star Keanu Carver was removed from WWE’s internal roster and is gone from the company. And based on the company’s handling of similar NXT issues in the past, this could be the last we hear of it for a while. We’ll keep you updated if more comes of it, however.
