WWE schedules matches for SummerSlam on August 1 and 2

It appears WWE has determined when two of its biggest matches will take place at this year’s two-night SummerSlam. On its events page, WWE lists Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match as a featured bout for Saturday, August 1, while the World Heavyweight Championship match between champion Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins highlights night two on August 2. The third match on the card, a Women’s World Championship match between Liv Morgan and Queen of the Ring winner Iyo Sky, is not currently assigned to either night in the event details. With Lesnar returning to his adopted home state of Minnesota, and the former Shield partners facing off in a world title showdown, the two marquee attractions might headline their respective evenings. However, an Undisputed WWE Championship match with new champion CM Punk defending his title is expected to be added to the show. WWE’s listing may help fans choose which night to attend or stream if they plan to catch only one evening of the event. SummerSlam takes place this year at U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings, and will be available on the ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited plan in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
