WWE's Countdown show features Trick Williams vs. Laredo Kid at MSG

WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event streaming special goes live on Peacock tonight (July 18, 2026) at 8 pm ET. It’s exclusive to streaming, so if you’re in the States you’ll need a subscription but if you’re anywhere else in the world you should be able to see it on WWE’s YouTube channel. Before anything happens in the ring at Madison Square Garden in New York City, however, the promotion is offering a rare Countdown show for this Saturday special, starting at 7:30 pm ET. The formerly known as Kickoff shows usually get one or two hours but this one is only getting 30 minutes. However, they’re also doing a match this time — something they’ve long stopped doing on PLEs — as United States Champion Trick Williams takes on Laredo Kid in non-title singles action.
