Wyndham Clark secures US Open victory as McIlroy struggles

Wyndham Clark won the US Open, finishing four-under par, one shot ahead of Sam Burns. Rory McIlroy, in contention earlier, fell back and ended with a score of six-under, tied for 32nd after two rounds of 73. Clark and Burns were the only players under par, with Tom Kim also achieving this mark. McIlroy ranked second in Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee, while Bryson DeChambeau missed the cut despite leading in driving stats at the start. McIlroy is now looking forward to competing at the Scottish Open and The Open Championship.
