Wyoming and Colorado State extend rivalry agreements across multiple sports

Wyoming and Colorado State will continue their rivalry in men’s and women’s basketball, women’s soccer, and volleyball despite moving to different conferences. The two schools announced long-term scheduling agreements on September 2, ensuring the Border War series remains active in these sports. While Colorado State is set to join the Pac-12 and Wyoming remains in the Mountain West, the programs finalized future matchup dates through 2035. The schools are also working to maintain the football series following a gap in the 2027 schedule. The football rivalry is currently under contract through 2036. Competition in soccer, basketball, and volleyball will proceed as planned throughout the coming seasons, with specific hosting sites scheduled for both Laramie and Fort Collins through the next decade.
