Xabi Alonso visits Chelsea training ground ahead of July start

Xabi Alonso visited Chelsea's training ground earlier this week with his coaching staff to familiarize themselves with the club's setup. Alonso, who will become Chelsea's manager on July 1, aimed to understand the environment ahead of his official role. During the visit, he and his staff met with club departments to assess current arrangements and plan for potential adjustments. His visit did not pertain to transfer strategy, although he maintains dialogue with Chelsea's hierarchy on player movements. Alonso's unveiling is expected in the coming weeks, as pre-season training prepares to commence before a tour of Australia and Asia starting on July 25.
