Yahoo Sports launches college football fantasy game for 2026 season

Yahoo Sports has introduced its first college fantasy football game ahead of the 2026 season. The season-long game will feature players from the Power 4 conferences and Notre Dame, giving fans a chance to engage more deeply with college football. It allows deeper benches and the option to draft an entire program's offense using team-level aggregate scoring. The game aims to enhance the excitement around the sport, according to Yahoo Sports General Manager Jarrod Schwarz. Players like Duke's Nate Sheppard and Jeremiah Hasley are highlighted as potential steals in drafts, which begin as the season kicks off on August 29, with Duke's first game scheduled for September 5 against Tulane. Draft boards will be available soon in the app.
