Yan Diomandé returns to RB Leipzig training after illness

RB Leipzig confirmed that Yan Diomandé has resumed training as of August 5, 2026. The 19-year-old winger had been sidelined due to illness, missing the team's Austrian training camp. Diomandé's absence coincided with transfer discussions regarding a potential move to Real Madrid, but Leipzig's managing director Marcel Schäfer expressed acceptance of the player's situation. While he is now back with the squad, there is no final agreement reported with Real Madrid at this time, and the club continues its preseason preparations.
