Yankees acquire two players from Pirates in three-player trade

The New York Yankees announced a trade with the Pittsburgh Pirates, acquiring minor league catcher Omar Alfonzo and outfielder Luis Cruz. In exchange, the Yankees sent right-handed pitcher Camilo Doval and cash considerations to the Pirates. Doval has struggled this season, posting a 4.54 ERA in 44 games.
