Yankees address trade needs ahead of deadline against Cubs

The New York Yankees have identified specific needs as they approach the MLB Trade Deadline. They are looking for bullpen assistance, a right-handed hitting catcher, and an additional bat due to offensive struggles, particularly with key players like Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton sidelined. Since June 18, the Yankees have ranked last in the majors for runs per game. The team feels confident in its starting rotation, especially after Max Fried's return. With the trade deadline looming, the Yankees aim to enhance their lineup for a stronger second half.
