Yankees adjust to Aaron Judge's absence as they lead AL East

The New York Yankees announced that Aaron Judge will miss 4-6 weeks due to a stress fracture in his right rib. Despite his injury, the Yankees maintain a strong position, holding a 43-27 record and leading the AL East by 1.5 games over Tampa Bay. New York's offense has adapted, showcasing Ben Rice, who is currently top in the majors for slugging percentage, and veteran Cody Bellinger, performing well in Judge's absence. The pitching staff, led by Cam Schlittler, boasts a 3.32 ERA, further bolstering the team's competitive edge as they navigate Judge's sidelining.
