Yankees considering Tarik Skubal amid free agency developments

The New York Yankees are reportedly weighing a pursuit of Tarik Skubal, a top free agent pitcher. Skubal, a two-time Cy Young Award winner, is also being courted by the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets. Meanwhile, former Yankees player Jazz Chisholm Jr. appears set to leave the team after failing to secure a qualifying offer. Chisholm, who had a rocky season, drew negative attention for his on-field behavior. Brewers manager Pat Murphy expressed regret for remarks he made about the Yankees after his team's recent championship win.
