Yankees expected to consider Luis Arraez for Jazz Chisholm replacement

The New York Yankees are likely parting ways with Jazz Chisholm, as the team prepares for a significant offseason. Chisholm, an All-Star in 2025, had a disappointing postseason, leading to speculation about his future in New York. Manager Aaron Boone's reduced faith in Chisholm during the playoffs, coupled with fan discontent, raises the possibility of a free agency exit for the player. Reports suggest the Yankees could pursue Luis Arraez, a two-time Silver Slugger and four-time All-Star, to strengthen their lineup. Arraez's consistent hitting, characterized by a.310 batting average this past season, could benefit the Yankees significantly.
