Yankees explore trade options for catchers Adley Rutschman and Ivan Herrera

Summary

The New York Yankees are actively seeking a catcher as their current options underperform. Reports indicate they have inquired about Baltimore Orioles' Adley Rutschman, a three-time All-Star, and St. Louis Cardinals' Ivan Herrera, following injuries impacting their roster. Rutschman, who is currently on the injured list, has had a strong comeback this season with a.764 OPS. Meanwhile, Herrera, after being named an All-Star, has a.739 OPS but shows weaknesses defensively.
