Yankees face decision on Jasson Dominguez's role or trade

The New York Yankees are evaluating Jasson Dominguez's future with the team as they approach the offseason. The team needs to determine if Dominguez can secure a regular spot or if a trade might be necessary after his disappointing 2026 season, where he recorded a.225 batting average. Dominguez played 57 games, primarily in right field, but struggled offensively with 10 walks and 48 strikeouts. The Yankees may need to establish a clear path for his playing time or explore trade options if no opportunities arise.
