Yankees face fan criticism over 2026 trade deadline decisions

Summary

Fans of the New York Yankees expressed disappointment regarding the team's inactivity at the 2026 Trade Deadline. Poll results showed over two-thirds of voters were dissatisfied, primarily due to the lack of a catcher and bullpen reinforcements despite ongoing offensive struggles. Yankees catchers have recorded the lowest batting averages in baseball, raising concerns about their production. The team did acquire Luis Garcia Jr. and Heliot Ramos but many fans feel this is insufficient. With the Yankees yet to find a solution to their catching woes or bolster their bullpen, criticism of their approach remains prominent.
