Yankees fans support Aaron Judge returning without a minor league rehab assignment

New York Yankees fans have expressed support for Aaron Judge returning to the major league roster without a formal rehab assignment. The team captain has been sidelined since May 31 due to a rib stress fracture. Recent reports confirm Judge completed live batting practice on the field in San Diego, marking a progression in his recovery. While the team currently holds an 8.5-game cushion in the Wild Card race, the offensive production has declined significantly during his absence. Despite the potential for a hasty return, the organization plans to monitor his activity and manage his workload through designated hitter appearances and rest periods. The team aims to utilize the remainder of the season to ensure his availability for the postseason.
