Yankees may demote Spencer Jones as injuries clear roster space

Summary

The New York Yankees are considering demoting Spencer Jones as key players return from injury. With Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton set to come back, Jones's inconsistent performance—hitting just.221—could lead him to Triple-A. Yankees manager Aaron Boone noted Judge is progressing in his recovery. While Judge stated he plans to return this season, clarity on exact return dates remains uncertain. Speculation surrounds Jones’s future, though it could be a normal developmental step rather than a failure as a prospect.
