Yankees minor league teams conclude week 21 with mixed results

The Yankees' minor league teams faced various challenges in week 21, with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre struggling through a 1-4 stretch, currently sitting 1.5 games back in the International League East. The RailRiders' offense faltered, scoring only 17 runs over five games, despite standout performances from Max Schuemann and Brendan Beck. Meanwhile, Double-A Somerset Patriots revitalized their playoff hopes with a 5-1 record against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, highlighted by Omar Alfonzo's walk-off home run. Somerset's offense benefited from a balanced attack, particularly from Coby Morales and new addition Core Jackson, who had a strong week despite an injury setback.
