The New York Yankees have shifted Jose Caballero to the eighth spot in the batting order for the opening game of their three-game series against the Los Angeles Angels. Caballero, who started at shortstop in the previous contest, remains in the position for his second consecutive start. The lineup adjustment comes as the team travels West following a series against the Boston Red Sox where they secured three victories in four games. The Yankees' roster for the Monday matchup features Amed Rosario hitting in the cleanup spot, with Elmer Rodriguez taking the mound as the starting pitcher. While George Lombard Jr. is absent from the lineup, other regulars like Heliot Ramos and Paul Goldschmidt are also not included in the starting order for the first game of the series.
