Elmer Rodriguez is set to start for the New York Yankees in their game against the Houston Astros on August 26, 2026. Recently ranked as the Yankees' No. 3 prospect, Rodriguez will make his fifth start of the season. To accommodate his addition to the active roster, the Yankees optioned right-handed reliever Bradley Hanner to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
